  ACUTE EXPOSURE
SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS BY ROUTES OF EXPOSURE AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES
INHALATION: High concentrations are irritating to the upper respiratory tract and eyes. May cause headache, dizziness, vomiting or narcosis in confined or poorly ventilated areas. Remove individual to fresh air. Provide oxygen if breathing is difficult. Administer cardiac pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) if individual is not breathing.
SKIN: Brief contact may cause slight irritation. Prolonged contact may cause moderate irrita-tion and dermatitis. The problem may be accentuated by liquid becoming trapped against the skin by contaminated clothes or footwear. Remove contaminated clothing. Wash affected area with plenty of soap and water. Launder contaminated clothes before reuse. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.
EYES: Contact or high vapor concentrations may cause irritation and pain. Flush eyes with water for 15 minutes while holding eyelids open. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.
INGESTION: Swallowing of this material may result in irritation of the mouth and gastrointestinal tract, abdominal pain or vomiting, in addition to effects similar to those caused by inhalation. If individual is conscious, have him drink large amounts of water. DO NOT induce vomiting. DO NOT give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Seek immediate medical attention.
  FIRE AND EXPLOSION DATA
  FLASHPOINT: None
  AUTOIGNITION: 490° C
FLAMMABLE LIMITS (by Volume): LEL: 4.6% UEL: 8.5%
EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: Material is not flammable. Extinguishing media should be chosen based on the surrounding conditions.
SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES: Fire fighters should wear NIOSH-approved, self-contained breathing apparatus in positive pressure mode.
UNUSUAL FIRE/EXPLOSION HAZARDS: Product will form a flammable mixture with air between LEL 4.6% and UEL 8.5% by volume. Avoid contact with flames, sparks, or high intensity heat source. Exposure to fire will produce decomposition resulting in toxic fumes of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, hydrogen halide and bromides.
